He is an MBA graduate of Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) and has a BA(Hons) in Music from Kingston University, United Kingdom. His MBA dissertation on media piracy was awarded with distinction. His professional experience is drawn from the music industry in the United Kingdom in which he worked in a variety of technical roles for a number of years. He was involved in the design and creation of a digital music library of 700,000 commercial tracks. This music was used in a range of web-based commercial applications including digital jukeboxes. An investigative study was conducted in 2006 to establish the feasibility of expanding this business into Malaysia and Singapore. He has also investigated methods to combat the illegal exploitation of copyrighted music on the internet. Luke has also worked in a variety of positions involving direct, practical music technology skills. His experience includes creating polyphonic ringtones for download and methods for recording and editing digital music, CD production and web-casting. He has a strong background and understanding of business problems in high technology industries both from a practical and research perspective and has extensive experience of data collection and web-based surveying techniques.
Within OWW Consulting, Luke is responsible for the creation of research systems and processes, the design and implementation of surveys and the collation and analysis of survey data using web-based technologies. |
