MICG was established in March 1998 by the High Level Finance Committee on Corporate Governance. It is a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee. Its founding members are the Federation of Public Listed Companies (FPLC), the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the Malaysian institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA), and the Malaysian Institute of Directors (MID). MICG's mandate is to raise the awareness and practice of good corporate governance in Malaysia.

OWW has worked actively in partnership with the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance (MICG) and the Federation of Public Listed Companies Berhad (FPLC). We jointly organised the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Governance (CG) Conference 2009 and regularly assists MICG with speakers for their other events and seminars.

Visit the MICG website for further information.
