We are members of and signatories to the Ethical Codes of various international and local stakeholder groups including:

• The United Nations Global Compact;
• The Principles for Responsible Investment;
• The Global Reporting Initiative Guidelines on Sustainability Reporting;
• The Malaysian Institute of Management's Ethical Code and;
• The Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance Guidelines and Codes

In addition we have obligations in law and are bound in contract and partnership agreements with various stakeholders that require the highest level of ethical behaviour. We also insist on the highest levels of integrity in our own contracts and agreements.

We accept these guidelines freely because we believe that they support us in our work and help us deliver on our commitments to transparent and accountable sustainability practices and the highest levels of service for all of our stakeholders.

OWW Consulting is a responsible Company and we recognise that:

• We are fortunate to have the freedom to conduct our business as we choose and we understand that it is our responsibility to use this freedom wisely;
• We are the owner of resources that allow us to create business value from the activities we carry out but we are also the steward of these resources and must take care to not abuse our ownership rights;
• We can and should use the resources at our disposal to serve a greater purpose for society and the environment whenever we can;
• We can do this by bringing ideas, people and resources together to create value in mutually beneficial ways that no single individual can create alone;
• Our business decisions can and do have significant consequences – both positive and negative – that affect the well-being of our internal and external stakeholders both as individuals and as groups;
• These consequences affect our stakeholders now and in the future;
• To manage the interests of our various stakeholders properly we sometimes face complicated issues and have to make difficult decisions;
• We are free to make decisions as we choose but it is our responsibility to be wise, fair and balanced in our judgement and to make decisions clearly and in the best interests of our stakeholders

We therefore commit freely to the following Ethical Code:

• We will manage our businesses diligently and in good faith in the best long-term interests of our Company, our stakeholders and society at large;
• We will fully understand and implement both the letter and spirit of the laws and contracts governing our Company and the conduct of the individuals involved in our work;
• We will not engage in or tolerate bribery or any other form of corruption and we will take appropriate action to report and prevent corruption wherever we see or suspect it;
• We will respect, protect and promote the human rights and dignity of everyone who is affected by our Company or who otherwise comes into our sphere of influence;
• We will oppose all forms of discrimination and exploitation and we will take appropriate action to report and prevent it whenever we see or suspect it;
• We will invest in the professional development of our Company and our staff will be offered opportunities to develop their skills as they choose;
• We will provide a safe and secure working environment which prioitises the health and safety of our staff and the quality of their work-life balance ;
• We will fulfil our role as stewards of the resources at our disposal and respect and protect the right of future generations to enjoy a clean and resourceful planet;
• We will be transparent and report the Environmental, Social and Governance performance and risks of our business accurately and honestly to our stakeholders in clear terms, using international guidelines;
• We will actively engage in efforts to find solutions to Social and Environmental issues that affect us and our stakeholders;
• We will work with others pro-actively to achieve our common goals and whenever we can we will offer support to individuals and organisations that share our values

OWW Consulting will manage its businesses according to these principles and in doing so we will be a leader - setting an example of integrity and responsible conduct through our actions as well as our commitments.

We will promote these principles and defend them strongly – we will challenge those who fall below the levels of integrity and responsibility that we expect and we will refuse to work with individuals or organisations that breach our Ethical Code.
